When it comes to landscaping there are definitely different fruits which are very wonderful to use, to name a few there is the hackberry which is used to make jams, the crabapples which are used to make jellies and persimmon which is known to be very delicious. You need to remember always that these fruit bearing trees needs maintenance in order to have a good shape and form. What’s good about crabapple is that, it has a wonderful fall color, the same with the hackberry. Persimmon trees hold onto their fruit past leaf drop and are very ornamental in branching structure.
Nut bearing trees are also good landscape candidates where a large and stately tree is needed. There are definitely different nut bearing trees that can be used for landscaping, however, the black walnut tree is an exception since it can produce very potent toxin that can kill different species of plants within their root zone and beyond. However, you can also plant a butternut since it serves as a perfect alternative for the black walnut tree. What’s good about the butternut plant is that, it looks like the black walnut, however it does not produce toxins. To add up, the taste of the nuts are also delicious.
